Ellen Riojas Clark, Ph.D. is Professor Emerita in Bicultural-Bilingual Studies, UTSA. She has developed many educational multimedia projects and with teachers and school communities, worked on the Maya & Miguel, a PBS animated series, is the producer for Latino Artist Speaks series, and other documentaries. Academic publications include five textbooks, over 200 journal publications, and three cultural studies books  Popular publications include: Tamales, Comadres and the Meaning of Civilization; Don Moisés Espino del Castillo y sus Calaveras; and Our Daily Pan Dulce – Mexican Pastries will be published by Trinity University Press. Dr. Clark e received her BA from Trinity University, an MA from UTSA, and a Ph. D. in  from the University of Texas at Austin.
